Buck Island National Monument - Explore the best of St. Croix's snorkeling and scuba diving experience.  The island itself comprises a small percentage of this jewel in the U.S. National Park System, the surrounding reef comprises the rest.  Coral formations, especially the staghorn variety are stunning, lots of variety of fish life.  Guided sailing/snorkeling tours are available from the companies listed below.  For diving, contact any of the island dive shops.

Yacht racing

The Mumm’s Cup Regatta is generally held in Nov. with three days of ocean racing off the East coast. Other races include the Hugo Memorial Race in Sept. and the Harvest Moon Race in October.  Contact the St Croix Yacht Club for details - 773-9531.
