Lunch at the Divi Resort
On our last day on island way back in October, we decided to make a little trip over to the Divi Resort & Casino. They have a beach bar and restaurant I’ve had my eye on. So, we stopped there for lunch. Fabulous view, typical beach bar food EXCEPT for the Caribbean seafood stew that was a special of the day. Again, for whatever reason, the dining Gods must have been shining on my father-in-law, because he found this dish delicious and it just hit the spot. The sandwiches Jeff and Judy got with fries on the side were okay. For me, the vegetarian, the pickings were pretty slim. I could have salad, salad, or the ubiquitous spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. I chose the appetizer, which was fine, but there was not much of it and it came with an overabundance of chips. And the meal was overpriced in my opinion. On the other hand, the view is beautiful, the tables clean and outdoors, yet with plenty of shade and the company incomparable.
